Education cabinet secretary Prof George Magoha during the new curriculum update speech on Monday July 15th 2019 said he was looking for a plumber at his home but was unable to find one. He cotinued further and attributed this to the desire of everyone wanting to acquire a degree.
Most people tend to give a blind eye to the vast opportunities that are available in the technical sector in Kenya. A friend of mine joined a local mechanic right after high school and learnt the skills entirely by assimilation. As of now he is now a prominent mechanic making KSH3400 on average. He only took 2 mo ths to acquire the skills. It is important for youths to understand that there might be greener pastures in tbe sectors they ignoreCS Magoha: We are very stupid, including myself... pic.twitter.com/xmca6jPOGg
