A degree is oftenly viewed as a the perfect symbol of academic success for most youths. But sadly, acquiring it is always the begining of a whole new level of tarmacking and dropping your cv in every office day to day. Phone calls to your relatives and friends with "connections" become your full time job.

Most people tend to give a blind eye to the vast opportunities that are available in the technical sector in Kenya. A friend of mine joined a local mechanic right after high school and learnt the skills entirely by assimilation. As of now he is now a prominent mechanic making KSH3400 on average. He only took 2 mo ths to acquire the skills.
